Today's Market Fundamentals

A quiet morning with no headlines to move the market, this meant that risk sentiment was flat for most of the day. The evening news was dominated by Brexit news again, PM May is to build a consortium that would look first to extend the date from April 12 to May 22 and then get a deal done that would translate into a soft Brexit.

She has even offered to meet with opposition party leader Jeremy Corbyn, I think that this may be the master stroke that will get the deal done. If Corbyn is involved in the deal plan it should enable to turn the 30 odd votes she needs to get a deal done. The deal is turned down again in parliament, then she might be able to call a general election and blame the opposition for the mess.
